The two who battled for the final spot in the 2015 tournament. Two evenly matched fighters part ways to settle the score!
Extreme's ace, Rina Uchimura, takes on her final battle!
Rina Uchimura's final battle sees her face her strongest foe yet, Yukino Shinohara!!
In 2015, Uchimura and Shinohara debuted around the same time. Both were promising future ace candidates and good rivals. With only one spot left in the Extreme Tournament, one of them would be chosen. But then, one day, an incident occurred. It happened when the two teamed up to challenge a men's team in a tag match. The match devolved into a chaotic free-for-all. Shinohara found herself in grave danger after suffering relentless leg attacks. She called out to Uchimura for help, but he was in a frenzied state, continuing his fierce assault on the opposing male wrestler. Shinohara's cries went unheard. By the time Uchimura realized what was happening, Shinohara's legs had already been destroyed.
The former rivals parted ways and faced each other in a duel!!
Thus, due to Shinohara's injury, Uchimura automatically qualified for the tournament. Uchimura excelled as Extreme's ace, her popularity skyrocketing. Meanwhile, Shinohara joined the Fighting Girls but suffered the humiliation of being a substitute for the absent Uchimura. In poor condition and lacking his usual spark, he suffered defeat and faded from the scene. Though the two had been evenly matched, Uchimura shone as the premier ace representing the battles. Shinohara, however, saw his career ruined by injury, becoming a figure in the shadows. The year turned to 2016. Uchimura was touted as the favorite to win, but suffered a crushing defeat to Wakatsuki Maria in the finals. Meanwhile, Shinohara recovered her condition in preparation for a comeback, joined the anti-Battle league founded by Kawanishi Ami, and then threw down the gauntlet to Uchimura Rina in Battle! Can Shinohara, possessing incredible skill yet relegated to the shadows, defeat her sworn rival Uchimura and become the true ace of Extreme? Uchimura Rina, who suffered a crushing defeat to Wakatsuki Maria, cannot afford another loss! This match marks Uchimura's final battle. Her strongest opponent yet appears! Don't miss Uchimura Rina's final heroic performance!!
